AnHorn Medicines is a novel drug discovery company focusing on protein degraders and small molecular inhibitors targeting cancer, neurodegeneration, and aging diseases. Our mission is to develop new class of drugs BIGPRO® under the foundation of Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD), to address a broad range of life-threatening and life-impairing diseases.
We are seeking a qualified, highly motivated and skilled individual for the position of Cell Biology Assistant Investigator to support AnHorn’s early drug discovery programs in the areas of oncology and neuroscience. The successful candidates will work in teams to design, implement and troubleshoot cell/molecular biology studies. The person should be motivated to contribute intellectually in a dynamic team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
•Design, execution, and analysis of in vitro cellular assays to support drug discovery efforts, explore mechanism of drug action, and evaluate new targets
•Lives the AnHorn Values
•Support other activities as required by the manager
•Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and work practices
•M.S. in molecular/cell biology or biochemistry with 1~5 years of relevant experience.
•Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture. Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and protein characterization methods.
•Detail oriented. Able to communicate and present data to team members clearly.
•Self-motivation and ability to work as a collaborative team member are essential.
•Experience in gene editing, informatics, or programming is a plus.
