Position Summary
AnHorn is seeking a highly talented, industry experienced Finance Business Partner working closely with AnHorn Leadership and Operations Team to establish financial reporting and accounting systems in support of US-IPO planning. Responsibilities will include spending review and analysis, accounting operations and finance process/policy design and optimization, serving as a business partner to the discovery research and drug development, and corporate operations teams to establish and implement internal control policies in support of US-IPO.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Hands on involvement in all company accounting operations; aiding leadership team with tasks involving ownership of the general ledger, including hands-on month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, P&L review, etc.)
• Ensuring accuracy of all close-related work products, including journal entries, reconciliations, account roll forwards and analytics in accordance with IFRS
• Work closely with discovery research and drug development, and corporate operations to effectively budget and forecast operating costs and capital expenditures
• Prepare and present regular financial updates to discovery research and drug development, corporate operations and leadership team
• Partner with leadership across the organization to manage finance activities, help identify areas of potential cost savings or operating efficiencies and assist in the implementation of changes as appropriate
• Support financial requests with the program teams for governance presentations (for internal use or for collaboration partners)
• Plan and lead the corporate governance in accordance with US-regulation
• Perform ad hoc analysis and financial modeling/forecasting to support key management decision-making
• Work closely with external auditors and CPA
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance and accounting with IPO planning success experiences
• Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills (stakeholder management)
• Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesis, communicate, and present complex information
• Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
